Whisper's Sanctuary offers many programs that support our mission. If you would like
additional information, please contact us at toni@rrheartranch.com or (520) 455-5424.

Sponsor a Retired Military Horse
They served their Country with honor and pride, and deserve a safe and peaceful
retirement.  Horses from the 4th Memorial Cavalry of Ft. Huachuca  always have a
retirement home at the Sanctuary.  If you would like to sponsor one of these horses,
they would be greatly appreciative.  We do not receive any government funds for the
care of these horses.  They are gentle, kind horses, and often participate in our
children's educational program and the therapeutic programs we offer.

Forever HERO
Forever Humane Education and Retirement Options (HERO) is our educational
program for children & adults which teaches about the responsibilities of horse
ownership, including the cost associated with horse ownership, horse health
requirements, and humane options for retiring unrideable horses.  The goals of this
program are currently achieved through hosting school groups for sanctuary visits and
writing newspaper articles for public education.

Arizona Equine Sanctuary and Rescue Network
We have created a blog site, www.azanimals.blogspot.net to list available animals as a
way of assisting owners in re-homing their horses.  We also have an extensive email
contact list of rescues and sanctuaries throughout AZ.  If you might be interested in
adopting an unwanted horse and would like to be part of our email list, please contact
us.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
As part of our mission statement, we offer EAP as a way for the horses to contribute to
the community for the care they receive.  The horses have the option of "working" in
this program in order to earn funds for the Sanctuary.  The horses really enjoy being
part of this program, and so far it has made a significant impact on the people who
have participated. For additional information about Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
and Learning, please contact (520) 417-2055.
